Made a minor contribution to bdougie/octoherd-script-validate-contribution, adjusting an old release configuration and making the testing workflows reusable, gracefully working around some newfound limitations from the original design.

Took some trial and error on both sides, glad @bdougie had the patience to get this solved, it was a pretty painful issue on something that should've been a one-trick pony! 🦄
